I'm JJ, the lash artist behind Twinkle Lash Studio in Long Island City, New York. After about seven years behind the chair, I have learned that the most useful question is rarely “Which set do you want?” It is “How do you want to feel when you see yourself?”

Clients bring photos, style names, half-formed ideas, and honest reactions after they wear a set in real life. My job is to listen for what matters, explain what can realistically change, and translate that conversation into a design that feels personal.

What guides the work

• Not every trend belongs on every eye.
• A reference photo starts the conversation; it does not replace the consultation.
• Natural can still have presence, and definition does not need to feel heavy.
• Feedback is useful information, not something a client should feel awkward about sharing.
• If something cannot be changed safely or honestly in one step, I will say so and explain the options.
