JJ's Notes.
Small things clients say, patterns I notice, and the lessons that make the next consultation more thoughtful.
“Natural” is not one look.
Some clients mean barely there. Others mean soft enough for a bare face, but still visible with makeup. The word starts the consultation; it does not finish it.
2026-08-18A reference photo is a starting point, not a stencil.
The useful question is what you love in the photo: the lift, softness, texture, balance, or outer corner. That feeling can be translated without copying another person's eyes.
2026-08-18Feedback after you wear the set is part of the work.
“A little shorter in the center” or “more visible with makeup” is not a complaint to avoid. It is information that makes the next version more personal.
2026-08-18A rhythm is more honest than a promise.
Instead of giving every client one guaranteed number, I would rather watch how your lashes wear and help you find a refill rhythm that fits your real life.
